One of the first blogs about Baldock, Herts..
This morning was a bit of a One Foot In the Grave moment, when we got a birthday card through the letterbox for a 'Gary Shaw'. It looks like there is a card inside and is c/o'd to our address. None of us know a Gary Shaw, so if any of you know of someone with that name in the Baldock/Ashwell area, please let us know.

I spent some years as Press Officer for the North East Herts CLP and once worked for Geraint Davies, when he was MP for Croydon Central, as well as having worked as a Campaign Intern for the Hemel Hempstead Labour Party. I have written (and am editing) an unpublished novel, and am currently writing a novel about politics and polar exploration (contradictary I know).I am a member of the Christians in the Left and stood several times for District Council in Baldock Town Ward and in Baldock East Ward (North Herts). I also help serve at a coffee shop and a bookshop
